firestorm: rank dan offensive spell; pillars of flame erupt from the ground in front of Olruggio in a somewhat random pattern.

sylph: rank c Olruggio can fly around as if he were wearing a pair of sylph shoes, though the duration, distance and speed is much more limited here than in WHA. Starting from Rank D, he can hover in the air momentarily and continue flying. Increasing rank increases distance travelled.

invigorate: rank d a direct healing move. Immediately restores a small amount of damage. Increasing rank increases the amount of health restored and eventually gives a minor attack buff.

warmth: rank d creates a ball of flame that gives off light and heals/buffs any Dreamer near it. At rank E, the spell is stationary with a 3 feet area of effect around itself. Via upgrades, along with increasing the amount healed it will get a minor defense buff, larger area and the ball starts following after Olruggio. Movement reduces the duration of the spell. At rank D, adds a small defense buff to the spell.

dream of fire & light: rank d several deers composed of light and flame are summoned, leaping protectively around Torch and whoever he's with at the time. The deer provides a regen effect while they're on the field and can take one (1) hit for any Dreamer in the party (they have no restorative effect when they are destroyed in this manner). When the effect expires, the deer disappears with one last burst of healing (1 point per deer, based on how many are still on the field when the timer ends) before Olruggio gets ejected from the Dream. Starting off, he gets 2 deers.

His family is Italian but they moved to Northern Europe a couple of generations ago, we'll go with half Finnish maybe? Ultimately, he moves out to central Europe in his teens so this is 100% just fluff
Became a Dreamer very young and was pretty successful, near prodigy level magic user. Everyone probably expected him to become a star Striker or possibly someone who excelled in all branches, he was just that good
He also was one of those Novices that weren't registered with the DU because frankly he was too far away from the city to actually sign up. Ah well.
A Nightmare attack changed that and while there were no Figments caught in the attack, several experienced Dreamers were taken out and while Olruggio was able to get two Dreamers out of the battle relatively unharmed, the others weren't so lucky. He blames himself for being unable to do more during this incident, even though reports indicate that to not be the case
He pivoted hard from frontline combat following this, focusing instead of supporting his fellow Dreamers and improving their odds of success
Moved closer to DU Europe HQ in order to register properly and start actively helping in the Dreamer community
Attended school for graphic design and illustration. Wound up getting that degree and one in architecture because this man is a prodigy
Got out of school and... Didn't immediately go into a Dreaming career. Instead, he goes into graphic design with a semi-well known company. He transitions into doing freelance work after he establishes himself
He's still signed up with the DU branch in Europe though and while he never bothers to register as mentor, he always makes sure he's available to fill if people need a Saver
Is currently working as a Dreamer at night and his graphic designer gig in his waking hours, though his penchant for perfection in his work means he's pulling more all-nighters for his freelance design work than he is Dreaming these days...
